  1. Wow, this is an excellent article. I believe I will be able to purchase the Astro A50 Gen 4 Wireless headset. They operate on a PC, and the sound and microphone quality is very good. The fact that the battery lasts up to 20 hours is fantastic. I also like the way it looks, which is very good. It is a good type of headphone, despite its high price. I’ve added it to my wish list and plan to purchase it soon.

    Thank you very much.

  2. Very informative post. I personally have just got into PC gaming and I seriously love it.  However,  I never was use to headsets.  Reading this gives me new insight into choosing one that works for  me. The headsets I have had in the past all has wires,  so you could see why I never got until them. It’s time to get back into using them though.  I’ll be checking some of your recommendations out.

  3. Hello there! This is an informative post! I haven’t been gaming as much as I used to but I really like the equipment that goes with it such as headsets. Definitely great to have when watching movies on computer. The quality of sound produced is amazing. I currently have an old wired one but I feel like the technology with the wireless technology has grown so much over time. I believe the one I have was a Sennheiser brand. When that breaks down further, I’ll look into the Sennheiser one that you recommended. 3rd place is still pretty good! Thanks for sharing this.

Yes as a parent it can seem very daunting when your child comes to ask for something that is a few hundred dollars. If your son is really a keen gamer then the A50 is a great choice. They can also be used for listening to music or even for home schooling which is a big thing at the moment,

I hope the review has helped you understand more about the headsets to make an informed decision.

  7. This is a very helpful article!

I’ve used the Sennheiser GSP 670 the last while (when the kids have allowed me time to game!), I love the comfort of it, just always seems to sit nice and snug, and that super nice crisp sound i LOVE.

I’ll definitely have a look into these others-when I get some more time to gaming stuff, as some of these top models you’ve listed look awesome! Thanks for sharing!

    • Hi Matthew, I know what you mean, as a parent I struggle to get time to game as well. I can use the excuse it’s for work though.

Sennheiser are well known for their audio devices, more so for the audiophile but they have really started coming through with great gaming headsets too.

I hope you get some time to game soon.

      Thanks,

      Craig.

  9. What can I say, this is a great article. Now people can come to your website and check out some nice PC wireless headsets before purchasing. I’ve stuck to using wired headsets but am looking to make a change. Thanks to your article I’m impressed. But I’m curious, do the wireless headsets come with a rechargeable battery, or do you need to purchase actual batteries?

    • Hi, thanks for the comment.

That’s why I put these reviews together to help people make decisions on their gaming accessories.

The headsets come with rechargeable batteries built into the headset so you charge via a USB or wirelessly depending on what headset it is.
